Introduction
Other than my time in the Air Force, I’ve been an Ann Arbor / Saline resident since 1971. I had dreams and visions of owning my own business back in my high school years. In 1980, one year following my Air Force tour, I reached my high school dream of business owner as an owner/operator of a Shell Auto Care on the east side of Ann Arbor. In 2002, after 22 years as a Shell owner/operator, I bought the building in Ann Arbor on Hoover. I sold the Shell Service Station business and moved the auto repair portion of the business to the new “Hoover Street Auto Repair” location on Hoover Ave. In 2013, I expanded with a second repair facility, Stadium Auto Service”, which is focused on German Automotive service, and in 2016, a third repair facility, State Street Auto Service, focused on light & medium duty diesel trucks.
